W. STINNETT PERSONAL CHEF

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a personal meal prep service?

A personal meal prep service provides freshly prepared, customized meals made in your home by a professional chef. I handle everything from menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, packaging, labeling, and cleaning so you can enjoy healthy, delicious meals without the stress of daily cooking.

Why choose your service?

I offer a highly personalized, health-forward service designed around your dietary needs, taste preferences, and lifestyle. Whether you're a busy professional, a family managing food allergies, or simply tired of takeout, my goal is to help you eat better and live easier. Plus, everything is made in your own kitchen with high-quality, often organic and local ingredients.

How much does it cost?

Contact me for a quote. I charge a flat rate that covers menu planning, grocery shopping, travel time, in-home cooking and kitchen cleanup. No contracts or subscriptions required.

Do you use organic or local ingredients?

Whenever possible, yes. I prioritize organic produce, pasture-raised eggs, grass-fed meats, and local sources. That said, I am happy to tailor your grocery list to your values, budget, or preferences.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Absolutely. Whether you’re vegan, gluten-free, keto, paleo, or navigating multiple food allergies in your household, I’ve got you covered.

Do I need to be home while the chef is cooking?

Not at all. Many of my clients are at work or out and about while I cook. As long as I have secure entry access and any necessary kitchen instructions, I’m happy to handle the prep while you're away.

How do I choose what meals you cook?

Each week, I will create a custom menu based on your dietary needs, favorite flavors, and lifestyle goals. You'll receive this menu a few days in advance, and can approve it or request changes. Want something new? Let me know—I love variety and creativity.

How do I reheat my meals?

You’ll receive clear, customized reheating instructions. Most meals can be reheated in the oven, on the stovetop, or even in the microwave, depending on what works best for your household and the type of meal.

Do you offer gift cards or one-time sessions?

Yes! My services make great gifts for new parents, recovering patients, or anyone going through a busy season of life. I offer one-time cook sessions, trial packages, and gift card options.

How do I get started?

Fill out this simple food preference survey to tell me about your dietary needs, goals, and kitchen setup. From there, we’ll schedule a quick consultation and send you a sample menu to get the ball rolling. Most clients are up and running within a week or two!
